How it Works:

The CB E++Plus two stage economizer has been precisely engineered to deliver high efficiencies when applied to new or retrofit firetube boiler packages.

Matching the economizer with the appropriate motor and combustion air fan, the E++Plus consists of two sections, the first for preheating incoming boiler feedwater before it goes to the deaerator and a second section for further heating of the feedwater after it leaves the deaerator.

This 2-stage heat transfer allows combustion gases to condense, absorbing both sensible and latent energy. This leads to significant energy savings, recouping Btu?s which would normally be exiting the stack, often paying for the E++Plus in a year or less!
